## Summary

**Requires OMB to check whether the "lowest price technically acceptable" contracting method creates national security risks.** The bill would direct the Director of the Office of Management and Budget to review procurement practices at Defense and Civilian agencies under Federal Acquisition Regulation section 15.101–2 and to submit a report within 180 days to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives and to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate.
