## Summary

**Bars enforcement of nondisclosure and confidentiality clauses that silence reports of sexual abuse of minors.** This bill would void contract terms that stop victims or others from disclosing abuse, apply that rule to past and future agreements, and allow federal law to override state rules that would enforce such secrecy. - Survivors and families: Victims and their relatives could speak about abuse without being blocked by confidentiality clauses. The bill defines a minor as anyone under 18. - Witnesses and advocates: People with knowledge of abuse could disclose facts to support victims without facing civil liability. - State courts and officials: State courts and other government authorities would be barred from enforcing nondisclosure clauses that suppress reports to law enforcement, child protection agencies, federal regulators, Members of Congress, or the courts. - Settlements and payment terms: Contracts may still keep settlement amounts or payment terms private so long as those limits do not prevent the protected disclosures described in the bill.
