## Summary

**Preserve public access to certain memorials during a lapse in appropriations.** This bill would require an agency affected by a funding lapse to keep open memorials on Federal property that are not federally funded and that are normally accessible through an agency facility or other Federal real property. It would also deem Federal employees who provide that access to be performing emergency services for furlough rules under 31 U.S.C. 1342.
