## Summary

**Temporarily bans exports of crude oil, gasoline, and diesel.** This bill would prohibit exporting those fuels from enactment until the President declares that military operations against Iran which began in March 2026 have ceased and determines and certifies to Congress that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open and global shipping through the Strait has resumed. - U.S. oil and fuel exporters would be barred from shipping crude oil, gasoline, and diesel abroad during the covered period. - The President would gain a waiver power to allow specific crude exports if the President determines the crude cannot be efficiently refined in the United States.
