## Summary

**Blocks DoD payment contracts with retailers that use payment equipment or services tied to specified foreign adversaries.** This bill would require the Department of Defense to identify and phase out payment systems whose processors, firmware, or source code are developed, owned, or controlled by entities linked to China, Russia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, North Korea, or other countries the Secretary designates. - Servicemembers: Reduces the chance DoD payment processing relies on card readers, point-of-sale terminals, ATMs, or other devices whose application processors, secure processors, source code, or firmware come from entities tied to countries of concern.
