## Summary

**Raises the VA burial benefit to $3,000 and ties it to inflation.** This bill would amend 38 U.S.C. 2307 to raise the base burial and funeral payment for deaths from service-connected disabilities from $2,000 to $3,000 and to require automatic annual increases.
