## Summary

**Stops federal Judgment Fund payments for lawsuits or claims filed by the President or Vice President.** The bill would add a new subsection to 31 U.S.C. 1304 that bars judgments, awards, compromises, settlements, interest, or costs from being paid in those cases. It would apply to any pending case or cause of action arising on or after January 20, 2025. - Presidents and Vice Presidents: Lawsuits or claims they file would be ineligible for payments from the Judgment Fund. - Claimants and the Judgment Fund: People who would otherwise receive judgments, settlements, interest, or costs in suits filed by the President or Vice President could not be paid from the fund.
