## Summary

**Adds LGBTQI+ inclusion to the Offices of Minority and Women Inclusion.** This bill would rename those offices the Office of Minority, Women, and LGBTQI+ Inclusion and expand statutory language so LGBTQI+ individuals and LGBTQI+-owned businesses are considered in program design and agency guidance. - Federal regulators and their diversity offices would be required to consider gender identity and sexual orientation in program design and reporting, broadening the characteristics agencies account for when setting diversity goals. - LGBTQI+-owned businesses would get an explicit legal definition as firms where more than 50 percent of ownership or control is held by LGBTQI+ individuals and more than 50 percent of net profit or loss accrues to them, making them eligible for the same program designations as women- and minority-owned firms. - Related laws and references would be updated across the Dodd-Frank Act, the Dodd-Frank table of contents, and the Housing and Community Development Act to use the new office name and include LGBTQI+ language in recruitment, contracting, and program sections.
