## Summary

**This bill would temporarily expand the Veterans Legacy Program to allow grants to help locate, identify, and inter unclaimed or abandoned human remains believed to be veterans.** The expansion would run from enactment through the end of the second fiscal year after enactment, uses the Veterans Legacy Program definition from Public Law 116-107, and requires that amounts used for these purposes not be counted as additional funding in the President's annual budget requests.
