## Summary

**Preserve public recreational access during Army Corps water projects.** This bill would direct the Secretary of the Army to keep an equivalent level of access to parks, trails, green spaces, and waterways while Corps construction is underway, limit temporary disruptions through local coordination, and provide alternative public access when needed. - Families and visitors would face fewer closures and have alternate routes or sites to use during construction so recreational plans are less disrupted. - Local communities and park managers would get more coordination with project planners to reduce the length and severity of access interruptions. - Corps planners and the Secretary of the Army would be required to review recreation impacts in feasibility studies and include plans to maintain access in final project recommendations.
