## Summary

**This bill would require the Bureau of Labor Statistics to measure AI use in the workplace and fold that information into core labor statistics.** It would begin initial data collection within 18 months and use the National Artificial Intelligence Initiative Act definition of artificial intelligence. - Policymakers, educators, and researchers would get timely, representative data on how AI changes jobs, tasks, wages, hiring, and training needs. - Employers and businesses would appear in employer-side surveys documenting AI adoption and related changes in business conditions. - Workers and training providers would see worker-level information on AI use inside jobs, task shifts, and AI-related training or upskilling. - The Bureau of Labor Statistics would add AI usage to measures of total hours worked and other employment statistics to improve projections and workforce analysis.
