## Summary

**Makes flood insurance costs and risk drivers far more transparent.** This bill would require detailed, standardized disclosures on National Flood Insurance Program policies and create a public, property-level online tool that explains premiums, rating factors, claims, and mitigation options. - Homeowners and prospective buyers would get line-by-line information on current premiums, discounts, replacement cost value, claim history, special-category status, mitigation options and estimated savings on declaration pages and in the online tool. - Insurers issuing NFIP policies would receive the same property-level data from the Administrator beginning 12 months after enactment to help explain rates and align underwriting. - The Administrator must provide a Flood Insurance Information Tool within 36 months with per-property pages, the ability to adjust time-varying risk variables, and annual area-level premium distributions by State, county, and ZIP. The Comptroller General will evaluate the tool 2 years after it is available and report on possible expansions, prospective buyer access, and additional data needs.
