## Summary

**Would let an individual contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA) even when their spouse has a Health Flexible Spending Arrangement (HFSA), if the spouse's HFSA reimbursements for the plan year do not exceed the HFSA's eligible expenses.** It would amend Internal Revenue Code section 223(c)(1)(B) by adding a clause that ties HSA eligibility to the spouse’s HFSA reimbursements.
