## Summary

**Requires the Bureau of Prisons to provide medication-assisted treatment to every pregnant woman in its custody who is addicted to opioids.** The bill would designate the BOP Director as responsible for implementing that treatment and defines medication-assisted treatment by reference. It also creates an explicit exception allowing a mentally competent pregnant woman to refuse medication-assisted treatment.
