## Summary

**Expands the ban on foreign national money to cover domestic business entities with foreign ownership or control.** This bill would broaden who counts as a foreign‑influenced business, require fast CEO certifications for political spending, and stop uncertified funds from being recycled into campaigns. - Business entities would face clear ownership thresholds to trigger the ban. Any entity with 50% or more foreign ownership or control would be covered, and lower triggers would apply if a foreign national holds 1% or two or more foreigners hold 5% combined, or if a foreign national can direct U.S. political activity. Beneficial ownership would be determined consistent with state law and federal reporting rules. - Political committees and other recipients would have to keep a perjury‑bound certification from the paying entity and could not use or transfer funds for political purposes unless they hold that certification and keep separate accounting. There is a good‑faith reliance allowance for recipients. - Corporate separate segregated funds would need annual certifications that fund managers are U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents, that no foreign national takes part in contribution decisions, and that foreign board members abstain on fund matters.
