## Summary

**A national right to contraception.** This bill would codify a federal non-discrimination right for people to obtain and use contraception and for health care providers to give contraceptives and related information. - Individuals and families would have a statutory right to obtain contraceptives, use fertility‑awareness methods, or undergo sterilization without government-imposed limits on access. - Health care providers would have a protected right to provide contraceptives, counseling, referrals, and information free from coercion or government interference. - Federal law would block state or federal rules that single out or restrict contraceptive access unless the rule significantly advances access and is the least restrictive option. The Attorney General could sue to stop violations and people and providers could bring private lawsuits, and the bill applies notwithstanding the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
