## Summary

**Integrate the National Guard with national service to protect critical infrastructure and build a nationwide workforce pipeline.** This bill would require a feasibility study within 1 year and create a pilot program centered on four core activities: critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity capacity-building, disaster preparedness and community resilience, and workforce development and financial security. - Members of the Reserve components and military families would gain a structured employment and training pipeline connecting part-time Guard and Reserve service to programs under national service laws. The feasibility study would assess the share of reservists without stable full-time jobs and whether the pipeline helps military spouses and dependents. - Local and Tribal governments, K-12 schools, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits would receive support from trained National Guard members and participants to strengthen cybersecurity protocols and resilience. - Communities and essential systems would see expanded activities to proactively safeguard transportation, energy, communications, and water systems and to boost disaster preparedness and community resilience against major disasters.
