## Summary

**Condemnation of violent attacks on ICE and support for ICE personnel.** This resolution would condemn recent violent attacks and threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities, officers, and detainees and would affirm backing for ICE's role in national security and public safety. - For ICE agents and staff: would express sorrow for lives lost and injuries and highlight a reported 1,000 percent rise in assaults on officers. It would call for better protection, training, and equipment for personnel. - For law enforcement partners: would urge the Department of Homeland Security, ICE, the Department of Justice, the Department of State, and state and local partners to investigate attacks, strengthen coordination, and prevent future violence. - For unaccompanied children and detainees: would recount ICE efforts locating and protecting unaccompanied children, noting more than 465,000 entered during the Biden Administration and that ICE located at least 22,638 under the prior administration. - For public officials and media: would encourage leaders and outlets to reject rhetoric that incites hostility and to speak responsibly about those enforcing U.S. laws.
