## Summary

**Honors the National Council of Negro Women’s 90 years of leadership for Black women and their communities.** It would note NCNW’s founding in 1935 by Mary McLeod Bethune, credit Dr. Dorothy Irene Height’s 42-year presidency for expanding its national infrastructure, highlight signature efforts such as the Black Family Reunion, economic empowerment, community health, STEM education, and leadership development for girls, cite a network of more than 2 million women and 330 affiliate organizations and its historic Pennsylvania Avenue headquarters, and call on Americans to celebrate NCNW’s ongoing civic leadership under President and CEO Rev.
