## Summary

**Expands eligibility for memorial headstones and markers.** The Dennis and Lois Krisfalusy Act would remove the law’s November 11, 1998 cutoff so spouses, surviving spouses, children, and dependents of veterans or service members whose remains are unavailable could receive a government-provided memorial headstone or marker regardless of the date of death, and it makes no other changes to eligibility or funding.
