## Summary

**Authorize the Pines Foundation to establish the Fire Island AIDS Memorial honoring Fire Island residents who died in the AIDS epidemic and to educate future generations.** The Pines Foundation would establish and maintain the memorial inside Fire Island National Seashore. - Families and survivors gain a public memorial and a place of remembrance and learning. - The Fire Island community and visitors gain a local site for memorialization and education.
