## Summary

**Expand housing opportunities by guiding state and local zoning reforms** to increase housing supply and reduce regulatory barriers that limit affordable and diverse housing types. The bill would direct HUD's Assistant Secretary for Policy Development and Research to produce model State and local zoning frameworks, run a two‑year guideline development process with a public comment draft, and create a broad task force to inform recommendations.
