## Summary

**Complete the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail**. The bill would set a 10-year target to finish the Trail, create a joint Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management Trail Completion Team, and require a comprehensive development plan to guide completion and optimization. - Forest Service and BLM staff would form the Trail Completion Team within 1 year and produce a comprehensive development plan within 3 years of the team's start. The plan must identify route gaps, opportunities to use easements from willing sellers, site-specific development steps, and anticipated costs. - State, Tribal, and local governments, Federal agencies, landowners, acequias, and other interested parties must be consulted so routing and access decisions reflect local needs and property situations. - The Secretaries would be encouraged to partner with volunteer and nonprofit groups to help build and administer the Trail and to coordinate planning across agencies.
