## Summary

**Designates the Cerro de la Olla Wilderness** by adding about 12,295 acres in Taos County, New Mexico to the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument and updates the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation Act’s maps and section headings. It adjusts the monument boundary to match a map dated April 1, 2025. The bill would allow the Secretary, consistent with the Wilderness Act, to maintain existing wildlife water development structures in the new wilderness when those structures support healthier wildlife populations and minimize visual impact. It also would require a cooperative agreement with the State of New Mexico within one year to set terms for wildlife management in the area.
