## Summary

**Adds sexual assault and aggravated sexual violence to the INA's list of aggravated felonies.** This bill would add a new subparagraph to Section 101(a)(43) of the Immigration and Nationality Act so those convictions count as aggravated felonies for immigration enforcement. - Noncitizens convicted of these offenses would be treated under aggravated-felony removal rules, which the bill is intended to expedite. - Immigration enforcement agencies and immigration adjudicators would have a broader set of crimes that trigger aggravated-felony consequences, increasing the offenses used in removal cases.
