## Summary

**Creates a new pathway to lawful permanent residence for certain foreign nationals.** It would also restrict how information from those applications can be used for immigration enforcement and require new reporting before ending Temporary Protected Status designations. - Families: Spouses and children can be adjusted along with the principal applicant. Unmarried children generally must show 1-year continuous presence to qualify. - Applicants: Eligible people in the United States could apply for adjustment through the new Sec. 245B process. Applicants would generally need 3 years of continuous presence and would face a fee cap of $1,440 with targeted exemptions for minors, low-income households, foster youth, and serious disability. - Privacy, enforcement, and TPS policy: Application data would be shielded from routine referrals to ICE and CBP with narrow exceptions for national security, fraud, or certain felony investigations and would carry civil penalties for misuse. The bill would force DHS to provide a 90-day recommendation before ending a TPS designation and to report repatriation and economic metrics to inform future TPS decisions.
