- Can't be excluded from federal juries: benefit, low. If enacted, you could not be excluded from federal jury duty for your sexual orientation or gender identity. The bill would change 28 U.S.C. §1862 by inserting those words after "sex". It would take effect upon enactment and would not add funding or other program changes.
