## Summary

**Eliminates the age-61 mandatory separation for air traffic controllers.** This bill would strike the phrase "until that controller becomes 61 years of age" from two federal personnel provisions (5 U.S.C. 8425(a) and 5 U.S.C. 8335(a)), so controllers would no longer be forced out at 61. It would also require the Federal Aviation Administration Administrator to update FAA Order 3930.3C within 180 days so medical clearances for controllers aged 61 and older expire on the last day of the six-month period after the exam. The statutory edits take effect on or after 180 days after enactment.
