## Summary

**A centralized, public, machine-readable database for federal advisory committees.** This bill would require agencies to report detailed, standardized information about every federal advisory committee to the General Services Administration for annual publication and historic retention. - Agencies and agency heads would need to collect and submit standardized data on each committee, set uniform administrative guidelines, track performance measures, and ensure committee compliance with reporting rules. - The General Services Administration and its Committee Management Secretariat would publish the data annually in a machine-readable format, maintain past years' records, update guidance, and provide a report every two years to congressional oversight committees with recommendations. - Advisory committees and members would face new disclosure requirements for rosters, ethics designations, appointing authorities, appointment terms, meeting dates and summaries, operational and staff costs, recommendations, and implementation status. - The public, Congress, and researchers would get downloadable, searchable data to monitor committee activity and follow up on recommendations. - Implementation is specified to occur without any new appropriations.
