## Summary

**Judicial security** is the focus. This bill would fund eligible national nonprofits to create State judicial threat intelligence and resource centers to strengthen protections for State and local judges and court staff and to coordinate threat information nationwide. - State and local judges and court staff would get safety education, training, and physical security assessments for courthouses and other locations. Centers would also proactively monitor threats and help coordinate protective responses with law enforcement. - State and local courts and law enforcement would gain standardized incident reporting, common threat-evaluation practices, and a national database for reporting, tracking, and sharing threats with fusion centers and other partners. - Eligible national nonprofit organizations would receive financial and technical support to establish and operate these centers. The State Justice Institute must submit an annual report to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees within 1 year after a center is established that details threat counts, types, and seriousness.
