## Summary

**This bill would change how federal firefighters' pay and retirement are computed to advance** pay and retirement parity for federal firefighters. It would include regular-tour overtime in annuity calculations and create a maximum regular workweek. - Would change retirement pay calculations by adding pay for all regularly recurring scheduled hours and by including an amount equal to half the basic hourly rate for overtime that is part of a firefighter's regular tour. It also replaces the divisor 2756 with 2087 used in annuity computations. - Would require the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to issue regulations within one year that establish a maximum regular workweek, capped at an average of 60 hours per week. - Would apply to annuities based on separations occurring more than 60 days after enactment and aims to improve recruitment, retention, and pay parity with municipal and other public-sector firefighters.
