## Summary

**Public release of DOJ records on Jeffrey Epstein and associates.** This bill would require the Attorney General to publish, within 30 days of enactment, all unclassified Department of Justice records related to Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and connected investigations, individuals, entities, and proceedings, while restricting redactions for reputational or political reasons and requiring written justifications and reports to Congress. - Victims and witnesses would see more case material become public, though personally identifying victim or child-witness personal or medical information and child pornography may still be withheld. - Journalists, researchers, and the public would gain searchable, downloadable files including flight logs, communications, internal DOJ records, and documentation of detention or death. - Government officials, public figures, and foreign dignitaries could not be withheld or delayed just for reputational or political sensitivity and would be listed to Congress when named in the released records. - Ongoing investigations and national security information could receive narrow, temporary redactions to avoid jeopardy, but each redaction would require a written public justification and an unclassified summary if full declassification is not possible.
