## Summary

**Clarify E15 pump labeling and tank compatibility.** This bill would require the Environmental Protection Agency to finalize a 2021 proposed rule within 90 days after enactment to set E15 dispenser labeling and to define underground storage tank compatibility with ethanol blends. - Owners and operators of existing underground storage tanks would be deemed compliant with fuel blends up to 15% ethanol even if installation or compatibility paperwork is missing. Steel and fiberglass tanks made after July 2005 and all fiberglass reinforced plastic piping are explicitly treated as compatible with up to 15% ethanol. - Owners who install or replace tank system components after the rule takes effect would have to use parts, including pipe sealants and piping, that are compatible with fuel blends up to 100% ethanol. - The final rule would be required to address E15 dispenser labeling by completing the first co-proposal from the 2021 proposal, aiming to clarify pump labeling and retail compatibility for E15.
