## Summary

**Strengthen U.S. efforts to prevent violence and stabilize conflict-affected countries.** This bill would reauthorize and expand the Global Fragility Act to force tighter planning across diplomacy, development, and defense and to boost private-sector investment and program effectiveness. - Families and communities in fragile places would see continued and expanded prevention and stabilization programs. The Prevention and Stabilization Fund and the Complex Crises Fund are reauthorized through 2030 and Economic Support Fund (ESF) money could be used for monitoring, evaluation, and learning. - U.S. agencies and staff would face new coordination and staffing rules to deliver the strategy. The bill would add the CEOs of the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to interagency coordination, require an annual steering committee led by a Deputy-level official, and make the State Department Counselor lead Strategy staffing. - Priority countries and program scope would shift. Haiti and Libya would be removed from implementation, Coastal West Africa, Mozambique, and Papua New Guinea would remain priorities, and the President could add new priority countries within a 1-year window after a 30-day notice to Congress.
