## Summary

**Would create a conditional permanent resident pathway for Afghan allies and a coordinated refugee referral system**. The bill pairs that immigration route with remote processing, expanded biometric options, fee waivers, and new oversight to speed resettlement for people who supported the U.S. mission in Afghanistan. - Afghan allies and family members would gain new routes to lawful status. The bill lets spouses and children be included and adds a Special Immigrant Visa category that authorizes up to 2,500 principal visas a year with a 10,000 aggregate cap. - Refugee protections and remote access get a boost.
