## Summary

**Residency applicant reporting tied to Medicare payments.** The bill would require hospitals with approved residency programs to report, by program, the numbers of applicants and accepted applicants from osteopathic and allopathic medical schools and affirm their consideration policies, and it would direct the Secretary to publish submitted data beginning with fiscal year 2025. - Hospitals: Would need to submit per-program counts of applicants and accepted applicants split by osteopathic versus allopathic schools and confirm program policies and accepted exam scores.
