## Summary

**Would block the Treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund from bailing out Argentina.** This bill would bar the fund from providing direct or indirect financial support to Argentina, including currency swap lines, buying pesos or Argentine sovereign debt, or extending credit. It would require any existing financial contracts that violate the ban to be sold or ended within 7 days of enactment. The prohibition would expire on December 10, 2027.
