## Summary

**Expands federal law enforcement support for Indian Tribes.** This bill would let Indian Tribes request U.S. Marshals Service assistance with tribal fugitive and warrant matters. It also adds Tribal law and Tribal matters into the rules that govern presidential protective authorities. - Defines "Indian Tribe" by reference to the Interior Department's official list under the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994. This sets which tribes may make requests under the bill. - Authorizes the U.S. Marshals Service to handle Tribal fugitive matters when an Indian Tribe asks for help and treats Tribal matters as part of the local context for certain Marshals authorities. - Amends the Presidential Threat Protection Act to include Indian Tribes and to change references from "Federal or State law" to "Federal, State, or Tribal law," enabling coordination across federal, state, and tribal authorities in warrant and protective situations when tribes request assistance.
