## Summary

**Would award a posthumous Congressional Gold Medal to Fred Korematsu** in recognition of his civil rights leadership, loyalty, and dedication to justice. It would authorize the Secretary of the Treasury and the U.S. Mint to strike the medal, arrange its presentation by the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate, place the medal at the Smithsonian for display and research, and strike and sell bronze duplicates to cover costs.
