## Summary

**Creates a grant program to expand and modernize the domestic organic supply chain.** This bill would fund grants and technical help to build more U.S. capacity for storage, processing, tracking, and market development so domestic organic products can better replace imports. - Producers and processors would be eligible for competitive grants to expand storage, processing, aggregation, distribution, and ingredient-tracking systems. Grants can reach $2.0 million and generally require a 50% non-Federal match. - Equipment-only projects would qualify for smaller awards up to $100,000 with a 25% non-Federal match. The Secretary may waive or reduce the non-Federal share for beginning farmers, ranchers, and veterans. - Units of Tribal government are explicitly eligible, and the Secretary may set annual priorities based on import reliance and recommendations from the National Organic Standards Board. The Secretary may also provide technical assistance and limit grants to terms of up to 3 years.
