## Summary

**Expands the right to seek money damages from the United States for injuries caused by federal law enforcement officers.** The Right to Redress Act would bring claims for property loss, personal injury, or death caused by negligent or wrongful acts or omissions of covered Federal law enforcement officers under the Federal Tort Claims Act and would let claimants request a jury trial. It defines who counts as a "Federal law enforcement officer" by including any U.S. officer, agent, or employee authorized to engage in or supervise prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution of violations of Federal civil or criminal law. The bill also adjusts and cross‑references related FTCA provisions to make these claims fit within existing procedures while saying it does not revive expired claims or reopen finally adjudicated cases. Section 2 is the main substantive part and the changes would apply to claims arising before, on, or after enactment.
