## Summary

**Direct scheduling for women's specialty care** so women veterans can book gynecology, obstetrics, maternity, and postpartum appointments without a VA primary care referral. The bill would require the Department of Veterans Affairs to make that direct scheduling available at every VA medical center and clinic and through all scheduling methods, including phone and online tools. - Women veterans would be able to schedule these specialty appointments directly without a referral, extra approval, or screening step. - Every VA medical center and clinic that offers women's specialty care would have to implement direct scheduling across their scheduling systems and methods. - The option to schedule through the Veterans Community Care Program under section 1703 of title 38, United States Code would be included, and the bill would not change eligibility or access standards for that program.
