## Summary

**Keeps the Mesa County, Colorado uranium mill tailings disposal site authorized until it is filled to its designed capacity.** This bill would amend the Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act of 1978 by removing the phrase in Section 112(a)(1)(B) that set a September 30, 2031 deadline, replacing the time-based expiration with an authorization that continues until the site reaches its planned capacity.
