**Guaranteed, sequential arts and music instruction in K–12 schools.** This bill would add explicit, standards-based arts and music requirements to schoolwide and targeted assistance plans under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, to be taught by state-defined certified educators and compatible community providers. - Students and families: Students would gain sequential, standards-aligned instruction in dance, media arts, theater, visual arts, and music. Targeted assistance would fund student participation in arts programs that address academic needs. - Educators: States would define who counts as certified arts and music educators.
