## Summary

**Any change to the 1966 Diego Garcia agreement would need Senate advice and consent.** The bill would also force the executive to report to designated Senate committees before negotiating and stop agencies from spending money to alter the agreement without that consent. - Grants three Senate committees formal oversight. The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, the Senate Committee on Armed Services, and the Senate Committee on Appropriations must receive and review any proposed modification. - Requires the President to provide a pre-negotiation report to those committees.
