## Summary

**Would exempt certain small community water projects from NEPA review.** It would require the Secretary of the Army to designate, within 180 days, projects carried out under the continuing authority program or under environmental infrastructure assistance programs that are built by non-Federal sponsors as categorically excluded from NEPA environmental assessment and environmental impact statement requirements when the federal share is less than $6 million or when the federal share is under 15 percent and the total project cost is $35 million or less, and to publish regulations to implement that exclusion within 150 days.
