## Summary

**Adds an extra nonvoting defender voice on the U.S. Sentencing Commission.** This bill would increase the number of nonvoting members from one to two, require that a Federal public defender or a community defender (designated by the Defender Services Office of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts) serve as an ex officio nonvoting member, and adjust the related membership count to 10 (including 3) under the Sentencing Reform Act.
