## Summary

**Creates a mandatory, USDA-run fertilizer price reporting system** to publish timely weekly prices and quantities for nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and fertilizer products. It pairs national and regional dashboards and a weekly retail survey with confidentiality rules so farmers and market participants get clearer market signals without revealing individual business data. - Farmers and market participants will see weekly national and regional price and quantity data plus retail price estimates to help with buying and selling decisions. - Manufacturers and wholesalers (not including cooperatives) must report at least weekly the prices and quantities of N, P, and K and fertilizer products. The bill defines affiliates as owners with at least 5 percent voting securities and treats entities at least 25 percent owned by a cooperative differently. - The Department of Agriculture will aggregate data to protect confidential information, may run competitive effects analyses, and must review reporting at least every two years and update reporting rules after public notice and comment if needed.

- Weekly fertilizer price dashboard: benefit, low. This bill would create a weekly retail fertilizer price survey and a public dashboard with state and regional estimates and local price formulas. The Secretary would publish aggregated manufacturer and retail data at least weekly. Published data would distinguish products marketed by domestic manuf…
- New fertilizer reporting and protections: mixed, low. Cooperatives and most retailers would be exempt from mandatory reporting but could report confidentially. The bill would defin…
