## Summary

**Abolish the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument.** This bill would abolish the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument in California and bar the Secretary of the Interior from using any unobligated amounts previously appropriated to operate or maintain the Monument, except for amounts needed to carry out the abolishment. Any remaining unobligated amounts would be transferred and made available to carry out section 2 of the DNA Analysis Backlog Elimination Act of 2000.
