## Summary

**Adds hot rotisserie chicken to SNAP-eligible foods.** This bill would explicitly insert hot rotisserie chicken into the Food and Nutrition Act's list of foods SNAP benefits can purchase and it updates wording in Section 3(k)(1) by replacing "clauses" with "paragraphs" and removing the phrase "of this subsection". The change is limited to the text of the statute and does not alter who qualifies for SNAP or other program requirements.

## Provisions PRIA read

- SNAP can buy hot rotisserie chicken: benefit, low. If enacted, you would be able to use SNAP benefits to buy hot rotisserie chicken where the law allows prepared foods. The bill would insert the words "hot rotisserie chicken" into the statute's list of eligible foods. It does not set an effective date, dollar amounts, or purchase limits.
